Rule number 1,never do a roof repair in a storm! But seriously, sometimes a roof never tested is something that you will never know just how good it is! We all have shingles blow away or bad build ups destroying rubber. Sometimes a quick fix may get you a few more years out of your roof. And although we are hardly ever proponents of a quick fix, sometimes that is all you can afford and all you may need to do to get some last bits of life out of your roof. Storm damage may end up being centralized and not as big a deal as it may seem. So as much as we hate to admit it, give us a call and we can give you a fair estimate on a roof repair!

So we recently completed a renovation for a local home flipper, when he first gave us the budget and had us take a look at the roof, I will be honest, it looked like a breeze, simple asphalt shingles work, scrape the old off and nail the new down.
To our dismay, this roofs substrate had rotted all the way through. This included removing all rotted sheathing, shoring up rotted trusses and replacing all of the sub base to make sure we can adhere the new asphalt shingles properly and for years to come.
We all make mistakes and we all miss some important things, and then there are times like this where we just dont plum see it, completely invisible to the naked eye. Guess we live and learn.
